ABOUT ZOE ARGHANDEWAL

Zoe is an employment and human rights lawyer. She focuses her practice solely on these areas.

Zoe’s legal background is complex and involves experience that ranges from defending murder charges to protecting the rights of wrongfully dismissed employees. Her practice includes conducting internal workplace investigations for employers faced with allegations of serious employee misconduct.

Zoe is a skilled negotiator who can leverage favourable outcomes for her clients without a trial. At trial, Zoe employs the strength of her diverse legal background to advance her clients’ best interests. Zoe is known for her level-headed and reasonable approach, which she believes is an effective lawyer’s strongest asset.

Zoe received her law degree from the University of British Columbia and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Guelph. During law school, Zoe gained practical legal experience at an early stage through clinical programs. She was involved in investigating claims of wrongful conviction with the UBC Innocence Project and represented indigent people facing criminal charges through the UBC Criminal Law Clinic. Consequently, she has been practicing law and appearing in court since the early days of law school.

Zoe grew up in various parts of the world, but now calls the West Coast her forever home. She has extensively travelled the province of British Columbia and spends most of her spare time in its forests, rivers, and islands.
